Employee Spotlight: Get to know Natalie Fay!

Renaissance Rentals is staffed by a diverse team of local professionals. In our employee spotlight blog series, we’ll be highlighting the talented individuals that help to make our company Bloomington’s most trusted local landlord!

Natalie Fay is our newest employee, but she’s already learned the ropes and doing a stellar job helping prospective residents find their next home! She is a leasing consultant at the MeadowCreek Neighborhood, where her upbeat attitude is enjoyed by all with whom she interacts. To help you learn more about Natalie, I’ve asked her some “getting to know you” questions.

1.) What is your favorite sport or physical activity?

“I love skiing! I’ve been skiing since I was 3 years old, believe it or not, and my favorite place to ski is in the mountains of Colorado.”

2.) Where are you from?

“I’m from Green Bay, WI, but have also lived in Madison – my favorite city in the world! It has so much to offer. You can go for a boat ride, or find great hiking just outside of town, then be at an opera later that night. I hope to return there someday!”

3.) If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?

“I would have dinner with Lily Tomlin. She’s so funny, talented, and, as a part of the LGBT community, I find her to be an excellent role model.”

4.) Everyone’s got a guilty pleasure. What’s yours?

“My guilty pleasure is ice cream! I’ll even have ice cream in the middle of winter. My favorite brand of ice cream is Babcock’s, which is UW Madison’s own. It’s made in the dairy lab on campus and it’s to die for!”

5.) What is your favorite TV or streaming show?

Grace & Frankie. It’s just plain good! And, as previously mentioned, I love Lily Tomlin.”

6.) If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go?

“I would go to Hawaii. I love that there are both adventurous and relaxing things to do there. You can hike a volcano, see waterfalls, and relax on a beach in the same day.”

7.) Did you have a favorite cartoon show when you were growing up?

“I loved Arthur. I even had an Arthur backpack when I was in first grade! It was a good, wholesome show, and I loved that it was educational. My mom was a teacher, so maybe that’s why I was drawn to the educational aspects.”

8.) Of all the communities that our company offers, which is your favorite?

“My favorite has to be our brand new HighGrove community, hands down. I may be biased though, because I actually live there! I love the nature-focused vibe of the community, with the garden plots and proximity to the woods.”
