Employee Spotlight: Get to know Tyler Line!

Renaissance Rentals is staffed by a diverse team of local professionals. In our employee spotlight blog series, we’ll be highlighting the talented individuals that help to make our company Bloomington’s most trusted local landlord!

Tyler Line is the brand manager of our Scholar’s brand of communities: Scholar’s Rock Studio Apartments, Scholar’s Quad Collegiate Apartments, and Scholar’s Rooftop. He’s the youngest of our current brand managers, but managing three communities takes skill and Tyler has it! To help you learn more about Tyler, I’ve asked him some “getting to know you” questions.

1.) What is your favorite local restaurant?

“My favorite local restaurant is Opie Taylor’s. It was the first place that I ate at when I first moved here and I got hooked on the mozzarella sticks!”

2.) What is your favorite TV or streaming show?

“I watch a lot of series, but my top three are Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and Dexter.”

3.) Everyone’s got a guilty pleasure. What’s yours?

“Ben & Jerry’s: The Tonight Dough. If you haven’t tried it, you should!”

4.) What is your favorite sport and do you have a favorite sports team?

“My favorite sport is football. I started playing in third grade and played throughout high school. My favorite team is the Colts!”

5.) What is your favorite part about working at Renaissance Rentals?

“Having lived under other landlords, I think Renaissance Rentals really goes above and beyond. I think I’ve been spoiled a bit as a renter.”

6.) Did you have a favorite cartoon show when you were growing up?

“My favorite show growing up was the Power Rangers. I was the Red Ranger for four Halloweens in a row!”

7.) If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go?

8.) If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead, who would it be?

“I would have dinner with Barack Obama. Not only is he an accomplished historical figure, but I think he is a genuine person and would make a great dinner companion.”
