Employee Spotlight: Get to know Vidi De Santiago Garcia!

Renaissance Rentals is staffed by a diverse team of local professionals. In our employee spotlight blog series, we’ll be highlighting the talented individuals that help to make our company Bloomington’s most trusted local landlord!

Vidi De Santiago Garcia is our youngest leasing staff member, but she nevertheless has lots of experience, having worked at the Covenanter Hill Neighborhood District for almost two years! To help you learn more about Vidi, I’ve asked her some “getting to know you” questions.

1.) What is your favorite local restaurant?

“My favorite local restaurant would have to be Village Deli because I am a breakfast food fanatic!”

2.) What is one item that you couldn’t live without?

“One thing I probably could not live without would be coffee. Aside from giving me the energy to get through the day, it gives me great pleasure with a great taste that I can enjoy on a hot or cold day!”

3.) Everyone’s got a guilty pleasure. What’s yours? 

“My guilty pleasure would have to be baked goods. I love cookies, cinnamon rolls, and anything baked and sweet!”

4.) If you could travel to any part of the world, where would you go?

“If I could travel anywhere, I would go to Europe. I would love to visit France and Spain for all the great architecture and monuments there!”

5.) Where are you from?

“I am originally from Mexico, but only remember every living here in B-town!”

6.) How long have you lived in the Bloomington area and what do you like most about it?

“I have lived in Bloomington since I was 2 months old, so basically my whole life. What I like most about it would have to be the variety of food one can find on fourth street!”

7.) What is your favorite TV or streaming show?

“My favorite TV show would have to be the office. It truly is a great laugh and always puts me in a good mood!”

8. What is your season?

“My favorite season of the year would have to be the spring. I love getting to see the new flowers growing and the return of everything green! And of course, I love the warmer weather that comes with it as well.”
